Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is a tropical paradise located in a private island in the famous Baa atoll. It is 120 kilometres from Male, what means 30 minutes by seaplane. It is also accesible by a domestic flight plus a speedboat, but total time will be double.
Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is part of the Preferred Hotels Group, in recognition of its commitment to unique style and design, superior luxury, service excellence and sustainability.
Coco Palm Maldives features 98 villas, either on the beach (84) or overwater (14). Opening out to stunning views of the ocean or surrounding greenery, the spacious rooms have thatched roofs, tiled floors, large open bathrooms, air-condition, fine wood and cane furnishings and four-poster bed. They feature private terraces with outdoor seating. Deluxe villas feature a private swimming pool.
Note that villas in Dhuni Kolhu do not offer TV and the WiFi signal is weak, part of the resort’s strategy to provide an “unplug” experience. Also there is no swimming pool.
The resort offers water sports including canoeing and diving and a luxury Spa. Excursions are available, like dolphin watching, snorkeling with mantas big game fishing, scuba diving and excursions to local islands.
Dining highlights at Dhuni Kolhu Coco Palm include Cowrie, a large open-air pavilion. Staff can arrange intimate beach or in-villa dining experiences. Two bars, including one on the beach, are also available.
