Angsana Velavaru is located in the Dhaalu or South Nilandhe Atoll, South from Male. It is a 40-minute seaplane or 30 minute domestic flight and 40 minute speedboat journey from the Capital’s International Airport. Angsana
Angsana Velavaru villas are half on the crystal clear waters of the Maldivian ocean and half on the white sandy beaches of the Velavaru Island, meaning Turtle Island.
Some beach villas are furnished with jet pools or private garden terraces with swimming pools. The In-Ocean villas are built apart from the island by the house reef. Each In-ocean is 2 stories high, spacious and each has an infinity pool.
Velavaru is a family friendly resort, and has an indoor and outdoor kids’ club, which offers a wide variety of activities including babysitting services.
It also features a Spa, watersports and dive centre and its own marine laboratory.
Angsana’s chefs serve a wide variety of local and international cuisines. And finally guests can also enjoy the spa with treatments and therapies.
